Bott GmbH & ELABO GmbH will be demonstrating a model production environment in Hall 3, Stand 3312. The exhibits are based on the avero workstation storage system. The digital assistance software used is elution two assembly by ELABO GmbH.

With the exhibited solution, bott intends to improve health-related aspects, but also free qualified workers to allow them focus on the kind of activities that call for their expertise. On the other hand, new team members can be trained faster and more in-depth.

The picker initiates new orders directly at their workplace, i.e. the parts shelf, and then allocates an assembly box to them via a handheld scanner. elution two assembly in combination with a pick-by-light system assists with the picking.

The assembly line includes the assembly, the end of line test and the packing. The task schedule is called up as soon as the workpiece carrier arrives at the first station. Screwing processes can be carried out in an ergonomic position – the assistance system predetermines the appropriate torque to be applied. The automatic end of line test ensures proper functioning. The system adapts the testing sequence to match the product version. The matching packing instructions are then loaded at the packing table.

Besides the assembly line, an avero single workstation is also exhibited at the stand. The height adjuster ensures a comfortable working position and short reach distances, independent of the body height. A cupboard from the cubio workshop equipment range is available to the worker as a well-organised storage space.

All workstations are connected to a network with elution two assembly. On the one hand, this offers the advantage of a transparent assembly process. On the other, the system replaces manual documentation. This saves time, which the qualified workers can invest in value-adding activities. Visitors to the stand are invited to see the model production environment in action on tablet computers.
